Football-Learning-Global

Football-Learning-Global is a worldwide network of ten NGOs that brings together schools and streetfootball projects from across the world. All Football-Learning-Global partners use streetfootball to foster learning, education and development. The collaboration is based on mutual learning on an eye-to-eye level to find common solutions for social changes in a local and global dimension. Children, youngsters, youth leader, teaches, coaches, social workers, project manager as well as decision-makers are equally involved in mutual learning processes. Since 2009 we have realized different projects together.

„At FLG, local ideas mix up and become ideas with a global force.
In this way the imaginary borders and obstacles between our countries are broken up
and we get to know new horizons,
people and young people with the same dreams as we do.“
[Flavio, Chile]

The idea of our diversity movement

“Who needs diversity” is a common idea born within our diversity project. The idea was to give our different thoughts about diversity a global visibility and also invite others to share their perspectives.

Talking about diversity we realized that it’s a topic which concerns all of us. We also became aware that what we connect with diversity is strongly driven by our contexts, our realities and experiences and therefore diverse in itself. Some languages do not even have an own word for diversity – but expressions for the sense behind it. To learn from our differences and enfold diversity as a strength is one common objective within Football-Learning-Global.
